Brief and idea

The brief

We wanted a spa site that slows you down before it asks for anything. The brief we set ourselves: nothing on the page moves faster than the person reading it, and the booking arrives only once the visitor has arrived too.

The idea

One memorable moment, and quiet around it. The hero is a slow camera move you drive yourself. The ritual is told in three held lines, one still for each. Then the page goes white with steam, and as you keep scrolling it lifts to reveal the cooling room. Scroll fast anywhere and the steam comes back, so the site quietly asks you to slow down.

The close is a reservation card, not a contact form: treatment, day and arrival time, with the dates generated live. In use it would go to the front desk on WhatsApp or into the spa's booking system.
