An organiser at Meydan
The work on show leads with congresses, so the site speaks to medical societies, associations and sponsors as much as to corporate clients, and it has to look like an organiser at home in a full plenary hall. Each of the nine service lines is laid out with its deliverables, the portfolio tags every conference with its year, and the gallery gives each event a spread of its own, so a planner can see the record before sending a brief.
The curtain is already up
Before a word is read, you are inside a dark hall under the lighting rig: a lit screen carrying the JVCES mark, a speaker beside the lectern and a crowd in silhouette along the bottom edge. Over it sits the headline in two voices, Crafting events that in a white roman serif and move the world. in a gold italic. A small gold SCENE marker with a dashed progress line sits top left, treating the page as a run of scenes, and a Scroll the story cue waits at the foot. Two buttons do the selling: Plan your event in oxblood, View our work in outline.
Four movements, one performance
Further down, How we work is set as four movements: Discover, Design, Produce and Deliver, each a tall photo panel with its name turned on its side. One panel opens at a time, with a large numeral, a line in gold italic such as Quiet precision, on the day, a short summary and tags like Show-calling and Hospitality. Selected work then runs sideways as a rail of congress photographs, with a counter, arrow buttons and a long rule marked Scroll to travel underneath.
Five events, each in full
The Gallery treats every event as a spread. On the index, each entry shows a cover with two smaller frames pinned over it at an angle, a dark pill counting its photographs, then the year, the title and an Open the spread link. Inside, PCI MENA 2026, ASEA 2025, JSNRT Congress 2025, Pathology 2025 and PAVSS 2025 each get a cover image, their details in a strip of small cards and a grid of photographs. Any frame opens a dark lightbox that steps through the set with the arrow keys and closes on Escape.
Room for a planner's brief
Contact is built for a planner with a date in mind. The brief form asks for a name, email, phone, the type of event and a target date, then leaves an open box for audience, objectives and venue ideas. Beside it, a dark Direct lines card lists the phone number and separate inboxes for general enquiries, new business and support, with office hours underneath. Lower down, a map places the studio at Meydan Grandstand, and a Chat with us button keeps WhatsApp one tap away on every page.
Under the hood
The site runs on Next.js and React, styled with Tailwind CSS. Framer Motion drives the panel and rail transitions, and Lenis gives the long homepage its smooth scroll. The brief form posts through Formspree, and pages are served from a LiteSpeed server. It is English throughout, with the same header, phone number and Get a quote button fixed at the top of every page, and a footer that repeats the main service lines, the address and all three inboxes.
